The 2018 National Meeting was held July 28, 2018 in Washington, D.C. We held elections, reviewed the budget, and discussed the path toward endowment. Jessica Reese McIntyre was re-elected as President and Mary Matthews was re-elected as Secretary. Congratulations and welcome to Jenifer Henslee Peck – our new Advisory Board Member. The 2018 National Scholarship essay topic is “Leadership.” Essays are due May 1st by 11:59pm Central time. Please submit your scholarship essay using the Scholarship tab above.
Who is eligible for the National Scholarship? Any active member that will be active in the Fall 2018 semester. The member can be an undergraduate or graduate student. However, alumnae members are not eligible to apply for the National Scholarship.

This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to an Active Sister studying for either undergraduate or graduate degrees and can be used toward tuition and books. The 2017 National Scholarship essay topic was “Friendship with the Greek community.” The National Scholarship Committee met on July 9, 2017 where all essays were reviewed and when the committee collectively decided on a recipient.
